> Postscript to the Blood-Written Diamond Sutra

> A treatise says: "The Bodhisattva's insight and wisdom hold a principle that is concise, yet the field it observes is vast, and the fruit it attains is great. This is like a vajra—its two ends are wide, but the handle where it is held is slender." Therefore, the Bodhisattva simply observes a single moment of mind-nature. When seeking it, nothing can be found, yet it brilliantly manifests all phenomena—no subject, no object, no right, no wrong. In this way, one realizes that the three kinds of Prajñā are all like the vajra. That is truly one who can hold it. The practitioner of illusions, who writes the supreme teaching in blood—is this the vajra itself? Or is it already held well? The practitioner should not see them as two. That is acceptable.
