### 去病公書大佛頂經跋

> Colophon to the Great Buddha-Crown Sutra, by Lord Qubing

如來藏不變隨緣，舉體為善惡；善惡隨緣不變，舉體即如來藏。如日出天下明，日沒天下暗，虛空隨明隨暗，非明暗能增減也。去病公因一念迷而破犯，今一念悟而力疾書大乘，日已出矣，心性依然無恙，請勿更疑，則更不迷暗矣。

> The Tathagatagarbha (the Womb of Buddhahood) remains unchanging yet responds to conditions, manifesting entirely as good and evil. Good and evil arise from conditions yet remain unchanging; their entire essence is the Tathagatagarbha itself. It is like when the sun rises, the world is bright, and when it sets, the world is dark. The empty space accommodates both brightness and darkness, but neither brightness nor darkness increases or diminishes emptiness. For you, Master Qubing, due to a single moment of confusion, you transgressed. Now, with a single moment of awakening, you vigorously copy the Mahayana scriptures. The sun has risen. Your mind-nature remains unharmed and as it always has been. Please doubt no further, and you will no longer be lost in darkness.
