### 王學古座右銘

> Wang Xuegu's Motto

浩然之氣，人皆性具。何以養之，集義是務。義非可襲，爰稱正路。坦坦周行，不憂不懼。立命知天，非域氣數。閉門造車，出門合度。道之所存，非毀何顧。道之不錄，榮名何慕。熟寐終夕，彈指便寤。南溟北溟，任爾遊寓。嗤彼昏盲，蠅趨螄附。夏則喜風，冬乃貪燠。悟性成修，力用斯裕。摩尼在幢，眾寶普澍。此外尋玄，五十百步。

> The vital energy of righteousness is inherent in everyone. How to cultivate it? Accumulate just deeds. Justice is not something you learn from others; it is called the righteous path. It is a broad and open road, free from worry and fear. To establish one's destiny is to know the divine, not limited by fate or fortune. If you close your door and build a cart, it will fit perfectly when taken on the road. Where the path exists, what need is there to care about blame? If the path is rejected, what joy is there in honor and fame? Sleeping soundly all night long, awakening in a snap of a finger — the Southern Sea and Northern Sea, you may wander freely. Laugh at those who are blind and foolish, buzzing around like flies and attaching to things like snails. In summer they enjoy the wind, in winter they crave warmth. To realize one's nature is to cultivate oneself; from this, strength and ability will abound. The wish-fulfilling jewel atop the victory banner rains down countless treasures abundantly. Anything else pursued as "mystery" is but fifty steps gone astray — a futile hundred-step journey.
