### 普賢願王像贊二首

> Two Eulogies for the Image of Samantabhadra, King of Vows

介爾一心，萬行具足。表以象王，支七牙六。除爾瞋心，便轉妙轂。法界宗師，昭彰耳目。遠證讀誦，近嚴幽獨。覓即不見，見即受毒。

> Even this tiny, momentary mind contains all virtuous practices fully. It is symbolized by the elephant king with six tusks (or seven branches). Uproot your angry mind, and then the wondrous wheel will turn. The Dharma Realm's great teacher is clear to eyes and ears. For distant practitioners, it means study and recitation; for the near, it means diligently cultivating in solitude. If you search for it, you will not see it; if you do see it, you will be poisoned.

十大願王，導歸極樂。塵塵華藏，從此彰爍。不昧因果，法界開拓。問取棗柏，玄珠在索。

> The Ten Great Vows guide us back to the Pure Land. From every mote of dust, the Flower Treasury world shines forth. Karma and its results are not obscured; the Dharma realm expands. Ask the old master Zao Bai—the mysterious pearl is right there on the cord.
