### 為虛舟渡和尚封龕

> Enshrining the Monk Xuzhou Du

以封條上畫⊙相云：「曹溪一脈法流長，習習風生殿角涼。明月堂前賓主句，今朝不假更商量。真寂定，豁行藏，巍巍獨坐法中王。」遂封。

> On the seal, a circle was drawn with the inscription: "The Dharma stream of Caoxi flows long, a gentle breeze arises, cooling the temple corners. Before the Moonlight Hall, the host and guest exchange words; today, no further deliberation is needed. True stillness and clarity, open in action and retreat, majestic alone, the king of the Dharma." Then it was sealed.

又舉火

> And it is also compared to fire.

「月明簾外轉身，荊棘林中下腳，消受六十一年，一向以楔出楔。且道今日事又作麼生？」舉火炬云：「炎雲披拂雨天花，看取紅爐飛白雪。」便燒。

> The moon shines bright beyond the curtain as I turn around; amidst the brambles, I place my steps. I have endured sixty-one years, always using one wedge to drive out another. Now tell me, what of today's affair? Raising the torch, he said: "The fiery clouds drift, scattering heavenly flowers; behold the crimson furnace as white snow flies." Then he burned it.
