### 衍春臺

> Spring Terrace

〔按〕臺在平山堂前宋丹陽刁約建國朝金鎮，仿其制重建臺上植梧桐數十本臺下東西繚以長垣蓻諸卉果汪應庚又重加修葺，種老桂百餘株，露冷秋高，香聞數里。

> \[Note\] The terrace stands in front of Pingshan Hall. It was originally built by Diao Yue of Danyang during the Song Dynasty. In the present dynasty, Jin Zhen rebuilt it following the original design. Dozens of parasol trees were planted on the terrace, and long walls were erected around its eastern and western sides below, where various flowers and fruit trees were cultivated. Wang Yinggeng later renovated it again, planting over a hundred old osmanthus trees. When the dew turns cold and autumn skies are high, their fragrance carries for miles around.
