> The Salt Tax Commissioner Min Shiyan and the Circuit Intendant Bi Benshu of the Heng-Yong-Chen Prefecture, together with the Huichan Temple and the Doulao Palace, have both undergone repeated renovations. To the right of the temple, by the river, stands the Imperial Stele Pavilion. Further right is the Xiangwu Pavilion, named after the Buddhist saying about perceiving the fragrance of osmanthus blossoms. Beyond that is the Hanguang Pavilion, and beside it is the Shuangqing Pavilion. To the right of the pavilion is a lotus pond, beside which tower ancient pine trees reaching the sky, interspersed with elms and locusts. Beneath the pines stands a pavilion called Tingtao, with the Doulao Palace behind it. Further west lies a winding corridor and a waterside pavilion that hugs the water's edge. To its north is a secluded chamber, and west of the chamber, a long corridor bends several times to reach a hall named "Green Willow City Walls." To the left of the hall is the Qixi Pavilion, named for the several old pine trees where cranes nest. Slightly to the right of the hall's front, on the west side, is the Peony Garden.
