> Two Poems Gazing at Snow from Pingshan Hall

為愛晴暾好　來尋第五泉南林纔吐色　階草欲生烟僧意閒於菊　松聲遠入弦未須愁日暮　落照正蒼然

> To savor the lovely morning glow, I come to seek the Fifth Spring. The southern grove is just beginning to show its colors, while stepside grass seems to exhale a misty haze. The monk's heart is more at ease than the chrysanthemums; the pine's sound drifts afar, blending into the strings. No need to worry about the setting sun—the evening glow is still tranquil and serene.

雪望偏宜閣　清寒四野平簷疎辭宿鳥　冰老壓垂牼是地皆瑤圃　從人問寶城銜杯無限意　俯仰看題楹

> Snow view befits the pavilion best, Clear chill across the plains at rest. Eaves sparse, the roosting birds take flight, Ice aged, pressing the hanging rail tight. This ground all a jade garden fair, From others I ask of the jeweled city there. Cup in hand, endless thought I employ, Bowing and lifting, I view the beams with joy.
