### 吳江顧樵水寫予平山舊詩「摘星樓閣浮雲裏，一傍危闌望楚江」之句，為圖相寄，雨中偶成一詩奉答，兼寄茂倫、定九

> A poem written for Gu Qiaoshui of Wujiang, who painted a scene from my old poem about Pingshan: "Among drifting clouds, the Star-Picking Pavilion rises; leaning on the high railing, I gaze toward the Chu River." On a rainy day, I casually composed this poem to send in reply, also to Maolun and Dingjiu.

哦詩三十年　往往在人口旗亭與樂府　流傳亦時有江淮好事多　圖畫煩好手詎敢擬右丞　家風映先後廿載走京塵　頗已忘敝帚君復為此圖　毋乃太駢拇平山高矗矗　楚江清瀏瀏雁齒紅闌橋　鵝黃水楊柳風景故依然　問是淮南否俯仰慨今昔少壯成皓首他時鱸鄉亭　相過索盃酒息壤猶在彼　寄語雪灘叟

> Oh, for thirty years my poems have been praised, Often upon people's lips they're raised. In music halls and singers' melodies, They circulate and spread across the seas. In Jiang and Huai, where kindness finds its root, Many seek to paint them with skilled hands' pursuit. Dare I compare myself to Wang Wei's grace? Our family's spirit shines in time and space. For twenty years I've trod the capital's dust, Almost forgetting what once I could trust. Now you create this painting once again— Is this not too much, an unnecessary strain? Pingshan stands tall against the sky, The Chu River flows with clarity passing by. Red railings span like wild geese in a row, Willows with tender yellow leaves bend low. The scenery remains as it was before— I ask: is this still Huainan's shore? Looking up and down, I sigh at what has past, Youth and vigor fade; white-haired at last. In days to come, at Lujiang's rustic pavilion, When we meet again, let's share a cup of wine. My vow still stands—I won't forget it now— These words I send to you, old man of Snowy Strand.
