紅橋無幾曲　秋水城隅長蓮葉已離披　芙蓉正堪賞安得攜童穉　深深搖畫漿非同洛濱戲　不比山陰訪頗聞保障湖　蒲葦清流廣水天自容與　人影久俯仰雅游無俗情　勝地發遐想鳧鸛各成羣　蛺蝶見三兩秋蟬鳴古柳　吾舟或可榜未知此生間當著屐幾緉

How I wish to bring the young ones along, And row deep with painted oars. This is no riverside play at Luo, Nor a visit to the shady hills. I hear of the Protecting Lake, Where reeds and rushes spread o'er clear waters wide. Sky and water freely merge, Human shadows linger, rising and gazing long. A refined outing, free of worldly cares, This scenic spot stirs distant thoughts. Wild ducks and herons gather in flocks, Butterflies appear now and then. Autumn cicadas sing on ancient willows, My boat may well be moored here. Little do I know, in this life, How many pairs of clogs I've yet to wear.
