> Wind‑like, the Sixth Patriarch’s air—unrivaled, beyond us all; He leaves a lasting trace of grace—we love the “Even Hill.” Beyond the bustling streets and walls that clamor night and day, For thousand years his tower stands, in mist and haze so gray. On stone‑stepped paths, his chanting blends with pine‐winds’ soft reply; At sunset, cups cast fleeting shade, as birds return and fly. We climb and look—both now and then dissolve in empty air; We think of him, his lofty words, and drunk‑en face so fair.
