片雲隨竹輿　客到雨亦到平疇失百里　虛堂淒四隩風雷憐檢束　揮霍資嘯傲點急濺成珠　溜猛併作瀑同遊半吳儂　蠶麥計豐耗符欲畫丙丁　術復占禆竈篁繭憶嚴陵　烟波思陸瑁變換不逾時　煩溽盡如掃陶陶孟夏交　寂寂靈境造移樽睇新樹綠色引前導斜暉靄松門　殘滴濕藤帽山出江氣低　池淨天容倒林清獨鳥翔　塘白羣蛙噪物理靜自悟　樂極防生懊歸途積潦橫　相與慎所蹈

> A wisp of cloud follows the bamboo sedan, Guests arrive, and with them comes the rain. The flat fields vanish beyond a hundred li, The empty hall grows chill in every corner. Wind and thunder pity our restraint, Unleashing wildness that fuels our bold songs. Drops fall fast, splashing into pearls, Flows surge fierce, merging into waterfalls. Half our companions are from Wu, Counting silkworms and wheat for the year's yield. Charms to ward off fire, spells to divine, Invoking spirits for fortune's turn. Memories of Yan Ling amid bamboo and cocoons, Longing for Lu Mao by misty waves. Change comes within a moment's span, All the stifling heat swept clean away. Joyful in early summer's embrace, In this tranquil, sacred space we dwell. Moving our cups, we gaze at new trees' green, Their color leads us forward as a guide. Slanting light veils the pine-lined gate, Residual drops dampen our straw hats. Mountains rise as river mist descends, The pool reflects the inverted sky. In the clear grove a lone bird soars, By the white pond, frogs croak in chorus. Nature's truths unfold in quiet reflection, At joy's peak, guard against regret. On the return, puddles block the way, Together we tread with careful steps.
