### 四轉位

> Four Stages of Progress

轉功就位片笠斜披霜露，扁舟不犯波瀾，金鱗得遇罷綸竿，回首煙消月淡。自是攜歸玉戶，一聲坐嘯晴灘，驚回星斗落江寒，大地芳叢不艷。

> A straw hat worn askew against frost and dew, A small boat that never stirs the waves, Golden scales found—the fishing line is cast aside, Looking back, mist clears and the moon grows faint. Naturally, it is carried home to the jade door, One call, a seated whistle on the sunny shore, Startling the stars and dipper down into the river's chill; The vast earth's fragrant thickets bloom no more.

轉位就功覓得靈符在手，誰甘晏坐華堂？生涯端是玅難量，休怪當仁不讓。雙履不停丘壑，孑身獨露龍岡，斯時贏得興偏長，打月天邊掉棒。

功位齊彰倒瀉山頭白浪，橫揚海底紅塵，飛霞滿目絕疏親，莫把風光錯認。和月移星易斗，連山鏟棘除蓁，拈來照用一時新，蓋代功勳丕振。

> Cathedral cascades and white-capped waves—mountains toppled, seas churned to crimson dust. Rosy clouds fill the view, severing ties of kin—take care not to mistake this scenery for the real prize. With the moon moving and stars shifting, constellations change; hills are razed, thorns cleared, brambles removed. Plucked forth, this radiance renews all in a single stroke—mighty deeds resound across the ages.

功位俱隱海靜龍潛影蹟，山深虎遯煙蘿，簾垂玉女嬾謳歌，那擊玄關金鎖？謾謂相逢不識，夜深少客來過，不圖作佛豈云魔？說甚難追電火。

> Silent are the traces of merit and position alike: The sea grows still—the dragon hides its form; The mountain deep—the tiger slips through mist and vine. The jade maiden lets the curtain fall, too weary to sing— Who would strike the golden lock of the Mystic Gate? Do not say that meeting brings no knowing— Late at night, few guests come by. To seek no Buddhahood—how could that be called a demon? Why speak of chasing lightning and fire?
