### 淨明寺

> Jingming Temple

在東外谷，舊名淨明菴，宋太平興國二年建嘉祐七年，浙漕李復圭愛其山水秀異，奏立淨明院，八年賜額，舊有維摩室今皆廢。

> In the eastern outer valley, there was a place originally called Jingming Nunnery. It was built in 977 CE during the Song dynasty. In 1062, Li Fugui, an official from Zhejiang, was captivated by the area's beautiful scenery. He petitioned the emperor to establish Jingming Temple. In 1063, the temple received its official name plaque. It once housed a Vimalakirti Chamber, but all of that is now in ruins.
