夕陽下山坂　旅宿山門禪窻暝乘嵓樹　庭昏帶雨烟力疲甘宴處　氣熱喜涼泉時有玄猿嘯　空帷復不眠

> The sun sets beyond the mountain ridge, I lodge for the night at a temple gate in meditation. Through the window, dusk cloaks the trees on the cliffs, The courtyard dims, veiled in misty rain. Weary from travel, I rest gladly here, The heat of the day welcomes the cool spring. From time to time, dark apes call out— In the empty stillness, sleep does not come.
