> "Complete Commentary on the Strictly Unified Text"

統上綱宗，聯芳佛祖，嚴正法眼，照耀古今，直得虛空點首，萬象揚眉，吾祖之功，盍有不可思議者矣？書至榑桑，如日東明，大地眾生，藉是而醒覺耳。幻寄逸然禪德行深，願重以法為懷，獨減衣盂之資，鳩諸善信，共肩剞劂，用廣流通。其設心措慮，與吾祖同一慈憫，可謂仁之至、義之深也。老人及木法兄既跋而贊之，予雖不能言，烏可以無言？

> Mastering the core teachings, linking the lineage of Buddhas and patriarchs, upholding the pure Dharma eye, illuminating past and present—this directly causes empty space to nod in approval and the myriad phenomena to raise their brows in joy. The merit of our patriarch—is it not truly inconceivable? When the text reached Fusang, it shone like the sun rising in the east, awakening countless beings across the earth. The wandering monk Yi Ran, with profound practice and a heavy vow to uphold the Dharma, personally reduced his own alms and resources, gathering faithful supporters to jointly undertake the printing and distribution, thus spreading the teachings widely. His intentions and efforts, sharing the same compassion as our patriarch, can truly be called the utmost benevolence and deep righteousness. The elder and my Dharma brother Mu have both already written postscripts in praise. Though I am not eloquent, how can I remain silent?
