> Song of Contentment

此事明了無所累，三韓地面聊相寄，隨緣到處便為家，不避譏嫌唯適意。秫飯半瓢克我腸，於諸苦樂何求忮，全無佛法可參論，永晝和衣惟打睡。饒你旃檀講席尊，爭如野老閒嬉戲，追風良駟不同群，靈翮仙禽詎受繫。動止安詳時悠悠，蹁躚緩步入城市，花街柳巷恣吾情，大笑狂歌沒拘忌。哩哩囉囉如痴憨，這裏本沒西來意。

> This matter is clear, with nothing to hold one back. On the land of Samhan, I briefly entrust myself. Following conditions, wherever I go becomes home; Not avoiding criticism or scorn, only seeking ease. Half a bowl of grain fills my belly— Among all joys and sorrows, what is there to resent? There is no Buddhist doctrine left to discuss; All day long, in robes, I simply sleep. Though you may honor the dharma seat with sandalwood, How does that compare to an old rustic's idle play? A swift horse chasing the wind does not run with the common herd; A celestial bird is never bound by a tether. My movements are calm, my time unhurried; With easy steps, I stroll into the city. Through flowery lanes and willow alleys, I follow my heart; Laughing loudly and singing wildly, without any restraint. Silly and foolish, humming to myself— Here, there was never any "coming from the West."
