### 步原韻

沒絃琴，不落宮商調轉新，二十餘年空裏覓，瞻風撥草少知音。

> A stringless zither plays a tune beyond conventional scales— For over twenty years, I sought it in the void. Scanning the wind and parting the grass, I found no kindred ear.

破茅菴，兩扇柴扉不用關，翠竹老梅真我友，白雲堆裏露青山。

> A tattered thatched hut, two wooden doors left unlatched— True companions are green bamboo and aged plum. Amid mounds of white clouds, the green mountains appear.

朽木舟，把定風帆泛逆流，野塘謾唱無生曲，且向清波再下鉤。

> A rotten wooden boat— still, it sets its sails against the current. In a wild pond, it idly sings the song of no-birth, then once more drops its hook into the clear waves.

破衲襖，零零落落無人要，脫下方知棒底恩，夜半日輪當午照。

> A tattered robe, tattered and torn, unwanted by anyone. Only after taking it off do you realize the kindness of the staff’s strike— At midnight, the sun shines brightly at noon.
