### 二　正覺是明徹人生世間真相的

> 2\. Right Enlightenment Illuminates the True Nature of Life and the World

云何正覺是明徹人生世間真相的？欲明此理，先解字義。人生者，謂人類及非人類之一切有情眾生也。世間者，謂遷變無常之宇宙萬有也。真相者，謂人生世間真實如此之真相狀也。此真相狀，唯正覺者始能明白徹了，絕非不覺者能領悉分毫也。但佛之正覺所明徹的「人生世間」之「真相」，究竟是如何耶？則緣起無盡，性空無礙是也。

> How is true enlightenment able to clearly perceive the true nature of human life and the world? To understand this principle, we must first clarify the terms. "Human life" refers to all sentient beings, including humans and non-humans. "The world" means the ever-changing and impermanent universe with all its phenomena. "True nature" refers to the actual and real state of how human life and the world truly are. This true state can only be clearly understood by one who is truly enlightened; it is utterly impossible for those who are not enlightened to grasp even a fraction of it. So what exactly is this "true nature" of "human life and the world" as clearly perceived by the Buddha's enlightenment? It is that all things arise through dependent origination without end, and their essential nature is empty, allowing for unimpeded freedom.
