第一成就最上法品第八
爾時，世尊釋迦牟尼佛告妙吉祥童子言：「我為眾生說此廣大殊勝㡧像法則，能令少善眾生成就廣大功德，今欲為汝分別較量福德業報，汝今諦聽，善思念之。」
爾時，妙吉祥童子白佛言：「世尊！善哉，善哉！今為我等分別較量真言法行所得功德。唯願世尊慈悲憐愍方便解說。」
Then the young and noble Manjushri said to the Buddha: "Blessed One, how wonderful, how wonderful! Now, for our sake, please distinguish and compare the virtues gained by cultivating the path of mantras. I only ask the Blessed One, out of compassion and kindness, to explain this skillfully."
爾時，釋迦如來於其面門放大光明，其光四色青黃赤白，普照大眾復照三千大千世界，一切魔王失大威力，所有摩尼珠寶一切宿曜日月光明，皆所映蔽而無照燭，於是佛光却入面門。
爾時，金剛手菩薩摩訶薩在大眾中，即從坐起頭面禮足，白佛言：「世尊！以何因緣放大光明，普照三千一切世界？必有因緣，願佛為說。」
世尊告言：「金剛手！如是，如是。如來現瑞必有所因。今為汝等說此妙吉祥根本儀軌真言經王，令彼有情所作所求皆得成就，一切平等令入法行。若有信敬受持讀誦書寫禮拜，以龍腦香、塗香及燒香、花鬘、繖蓋、幢幡、伎樂螺鈸妙音，如是隨緣供養發迴向心欲求大福，或聞法教依法奉行、或隨喜恭敬，我與彼人皆受阿耨多羅三藐三菩提記，如是放光而宣此事。
The World-Honored One said: “Vajrasattva! Indeed, indeed it is so. Whenever the Tathagata manifests an auspicious sign, there must be a reason. Today, I will proclaim for you this king of mantra scriptures—the fundamental ritual of Mañjuśrī—so that all beings may fulfill their aspirations and attain success. Let all enter equally into the practice of the Dharma.
“If there are those who faithfully revere, uphold, recite, transcribe, or bow to this teaching; who offer borneol camphor, scented ointments, incense, flower garlands, canopies, banners, music, conch shells, or fine melodies according to their resources; who dedicate their merits while seeking great blessings; or to those who listen to this Dharma, practice accordingly, or rejoice with reverence, I will assure every one of them of their future perfect enlightenment (Anuttarā Samyaksaṃbodhi).
Thus, I radiate this light and proclaim this matter.”
「若有先入三昧淨持戒品受灌頂者，於此儀軌王根本心真言外心真言，或別真言及一字真言，却曠野處以水果子及藥等根葉，用充齋食潔淨身心，隨意誦前真言三十洛叉。復上山峯上，面西安置前第四㡧像，阿闍梨面東坐吉祥草座，用白檀、恭俱摩香水，浸白蓮華一洛叉，向㡧前獻釋迦牟尼佛及諸佛、菩薩、緣覺、聲聞、一切賢聖，又以龍腦香、諸雜名花，隨緣供獻天龍神等。於㡧前作護摩爐如蓮華相，就三長月十五日夜半子時，用白檀為柴燒火。復用恭俱摩、龍腦和合作團數可八千，用作護摩而為擁護。時釋迦牟尼佛遍身出光猶如火聚，即時阿闍梨以恭俱摩、白檀水，淹白蓮華獻閼伽水，速繞㡧三匝，即頂禮一切諸佛菩薩聲聞緣覺。既頂禮已即收㡧受持，不久之間速得神通，經一彈指頃過梵天界到開花佛剎，得見開花王如來及無數百千菩薩供養恭敬，於妙吉祥前親得聽法，住彼佛會壽命一劫，所持㡧像亦在彼處。諸佛菩薩恒為護念，諸佛法藏皆悉通達，復得無量神通大力，入千佛剎遍現千身，與妙吉祥而為善知識，此人決定成無上覺。」
