Five Lamps Merged in the Source

Vishvabhu Buddha(Glorious Kalpa, the 1000th Buddha)

The verse says:

This body is a temporary union of the four elements. The mind arises only due to external conditions—without a fixed origin. When external conditions disappear, the mind also ceases. Good and evil karma are like illusions, arising and vanishing.

According to the *Dīrgha Āgama Sūtra*: When human lifespan reached sixty-thousand years, this Buddha appeared in the world. He was of the Kṣatriya caste, with the surname Kauṇḍinya. His father was named Good Lamp, his mother was called Precept-Holder, and he lived in the city of Unsurpassed. He attained enlightenment under a Sala tree. He taught the Dharma in two assemblies, liberating 130,000 people. His two chief disciples were Fuyou and Yudomo. His attendant was the disciple of stillness, named Mysterious Enlightenment.
