Five Lamps Merged in the Source

Krakucchanda Buddha(Appears as the first Buddha of the present auspicious eon)

The verse says: To see the body as not solid is to see the true body of Buddha. To realize the mind as a magical illusion is to understand Buddha's illusion. Once you awaken to the empty nature of both body and mind, What difference remains between that person and a Buddha?

The *Dīrgha Āgama Sūtra* says: When human lifespan reached forty thousand years, this Buddha appeared in the world. He was born into a Brahmin family, with the surname Kāśyapa. His father was named Vita, his mother Prabhāvatī. He lived in the city of Anheka, and sat beneath a Śirīṣa tree to teach. In one assembly, he guided forty thousand people to liberation. His two chief disciples were Sani and Vīlu. His attendant was named Good-Awakening, and his son was Supreme.
