### 王謝法門書第三十八

> Chapter 38: The Teachings of Wang and Xie

弟子總持和南。奉旨今日齋竟。即事登舟睽阻方遙。彌以傾欷垂示法相。雖文旨淵賾源本難尋。而教門方便開悟易益。恭承善誘永以受持。庶藉津梁得無退轉。自服膺至道每沾弘護。將事遵途復降良藥。沐浴慈被伏用悽荷。謹和南。

> Disciple Zongchi respectfully bows. Having completed the day's fasting as instructed, I now prepare to board the boat, and the distance of our parting weighs heavily upon me, filling my heart with longing and sorrow. You have graciously revealed the true aspects of the Dharma. Though its meaning is profound and its origins difficult to trace, the skillful means of the teaching make awakening accessible and beneficial. Humbly receiving your excellent guidance, I shall uphold it forever. Through this bridge of liberation, I pray to never regress. Ever since embracing the supreme path, I have always been touched by your vast protection. As I set forth on my journey, you again bestow the excellent medicine \[of the Dharma\]. Bathed in your compassionate care, I am moved to both awe and gratitude. I reverently bow with joined palms.
