第一求師授法 第二策導勸信 第三請聖證明 第四授三歸依 第五召請聖師 第六白佛乞戒 第七懺悔罪愆 第八問無遮難 第九羯麼授戒 第十略說戒相 第十一發弘誓願 第十二結撮迴向
First, seek a teacher to bestow the Dharma. Second, encourage and inspire faith. Third, invite the holy ones to bear witness. Fourth, receive the Three Refuges. Fifth, call upon the sacred teachers. Sixth, petition the Buddha for the precepts. Seventh, repent of transgressions. Eighth, ask if there are any obstacles. Ninth, perform the ceremony to confer the precepts. Tenth, briefly explain the nature of the precepts. Eleventh, make the great vows. Twelfth, dedicate the merit.
