### 南劒州伏虎巖請師開山

> Venerable Master, invited to establish a monastery at Fuhuyan (Tiger Rock) in Nanjian Prefecture

箇樣村僧。也甚奇怪。身如椰子。膽似天大。蟒蛇窟裡安禪。猛虎穴中劄寨。無端於微塵國裡轉大法輪。擊大法皷。却向刀山劒樹上成等正覺。弄者一解。㘞。

> This village monk is quite peculiar. His body is like a coconut, but his courage is immense as the sky. He sits in meditation in the python's lair and sets up camp in the tiger's den. For no apparent reason, he turns the great wheel of Dharma within the realm of a speck of dust and strikes the great Dharma drum. Yet he attains perfect enlightenment atop mountains of knives and forests of swords. Playing with such an understanding—hah!
