Compassionate Ksitigarbha Repentance Ritual, Volume 1
嚴淨壇場
Purifying the Altar
楊枝淨水。徧灑三千。性空八德利人天。餓鬼免針咽。滅罪除愆。火𦦨化紅蓮。
With a willow branch and pure water, Sprinkling throughout the three thousand realms. The nature of emptiness and the eight virtues benefit gods and humans. Hungry ghosts are freed from needle-throat suffering. Sins and transgressions are extinguished and removed. Flames transform into red lotuses.
南無清涼地菩薩摩訶薩(三稱)
Homage to the Bodhisattva of the Pure and Cool Realm, the Great Being.(Recite three times.)
南無觀自在菩薩(三稱)(眾持大悲等呪心經畢舉)摩訶般若波羅密多(云云)。
Homage to Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva(Recite three times)(After reciting the Great Compassion Mantra and the Heart Sutra, continue as follows)Mahā Prajñā Pāramitā(and so forth).
唵。捺摩巴葛瓦帝。阿巴囉密沓。阿優哩阿納。蘇必儞。實執沓。牒左囉宰也。怛塔哿達也。阿囉訶帝。三藥三不達也。怛儞也塔。唵。薩哩巴。桑斯葛哩。叭哩述沓。達囉馬帝。哿哿捺。桑馬兀哿帝。莎巴瓦。比述帝。馬喝捺也。叭哩瓦哩莎喝。
願將以此勝功德。祝讚皇帝萬萬歲。聖明君。諸國來朝位。南無無量壽。祝讚皇帝萬萬歲(再云)。
May this supreme merit and virtue Pray for the emperor's endless years. Sovereign and wise ruler, All nations come to pay homage. Homage to the Buddha of Immeasurable Life. Pray for the emperor's endless years. (Repeat)
以此經呪功德 迴向護法龍天
三界嶽瀆靈聰 守護道場真宰
祈福保安平善 莊嚴無上菩提
普願法界眾生 共入毗盧性海
Through the merit of this sutra and mantra, we dedicate this offering to the Dharma-protecting dragons and devas, To the spirits of the three realms, mountains, and rivers, And to the true guardians who watch over this sacred space.
May blessings bring peace, safety, and well-being, And adorn the supreme enlightenment.
We universally vow that all beings throughout the Dharma realm May together enter the ocean of Vairocana's true nature.
