賀上皇還京表一首
沙門不空言。不空聞。道惟帝先帝道洽則神功不宰。孝為德本。至德茂而克受元符。伏惟陛下膺天纘堯。從人復禹。不易物而二儀貞觀。未浹辰而兩都底寧切格昊穹德超列辟。東揖群后。西迎 上皇。垂 帝服而更導鑾輿。清天步而仍延法賀天父天子先天後天。去閶闔而復歸九重。正乾綱而載安萬姓。斯實 上皇垂訓推功高象帝之前陛下乘時至德冠興王之首。足以暉范史𠕋亮視唐虞。不空生預斯昌。偶茲榮觀。不任慶悅之至。謹詣銀臺門。奉表陳賀以聞。輕觸 宸嚴。伏增戰越。沙門不空誠歡誠喜謹言。
The monk Bukong does not speak falsely. Bukong has heard: The Way is foremost for the emperor; when the emperor's Way is in harmony, divine works are accomplished without forcing. Filial piety is the root of virtue; when supreme virtue flourishes, one can receive the heavenly mandate. I humbly consider Your Majesty to have received Heaven's mandate to succeed Yao, following the people to restore the ways of Yu. Without altering the natural order, the two realms are rightly governed. In less than a fortnight, both capitals have been pacified, truly reaching the high heavens. Your virtue surpasses all previous rulers. In the east, you have gathered the lords; in the west, you have welcomed the retired emperor. You have laid aside the imperial robes to guide the imperial carriage once more, clearing the heavenly path and still extending the dharma. The Heavenly Father, the Son of Heaven, preceding Heaven and following Heaven—leaving the palace gates to return to the ninefold depths, rectifying the heavenly order to secure the myriad people. This truly shows the retired emperor imparting instruction, pushing merit higher than before the era of the legendary emperors; Your Majesty, seizing the moment, possesses supreme virtue that crowns the beginning of a flourishing reign. It is enough to shine in the annals of history and illuminate the ages of Tang and Yu. Bukong has lived to witness this prosperity, encountering this glorious sight. Unable to contain the utmost joy and celebration, I respectfully approach the Yintai Gate to present this memorial expressing congratulations for Your Majesty's attention. I lightly touch the imperial dignity, trembling with increasing awe. The monk Bukong, with sincere joy and delight, respectfully states.
