二長短條表法
Two: The Table of Long and Short Lines Illustrating the Dharma
圖中長條者表聖增也短條者表凡減也故羯磨疏云聖增而凡減喻長多而短少也。
In the diagram, the long bars represent the increase of the noble ones, and the short bars represent the decrease of ordinary beings. Therefore, the Karmavācanā Commentary says: "The noble ones increase while ordinary beings decrease," illustrating that the long is many and the short is few.
