The profound and inconceivable realms described above—though absent in the current text of the *Avatamsaka Sutra*—are indeed fully present in the original Sanskrit version. These are separate sections of the sutra, circulating independently because in the Sanskrit manuscripts their chapter sequence is unmarked, and therefore they were not compiled into the main collection.
- 信力入印法門經五卷元魏南天竺三藏曇摩流支魏云希法譯
右件經。古德相傳云。是華嚴別品。詳其文句。始終總無華嚴流類。近勘梵本。亦無此品。請後人詳究。
This sutra has been passed down by ancient masters as a separate chapter of the Avatamsaka Sutra. However, when we examine its wording and structure, it bears no resemblance to the Avatamsaka tradition. Recently, I checked the Sanskrit manuscripts, and this chapter does not appear there either. Later practitioners should investigate this carefully.
鈔華嚴經一十五卷
I have copied the Avatamsaka Sutra, fifteen scrolls in total.

In the past, during the Southern Qi dynasty, there was a notable figure named Xiao Ziliang, the Commandery Prince of Jingling and Minister of Education. Possessing an extraordinary spiritual insight, he set his mind on the true realm of reality. He raced across countless eons, rising alone above a thousand years. Whenever he propagated the scriptures and teachings, or initiated virtuous deeds to cultivate blessings, it all came from his profound inner awakening, expressed through his actions and even his very life.
In the Yongming era (eighth year), he had a dream of the Thus-Come One, the Heavenly King of the East. Through a sacred inspiration, the method of "Pure Abiding" practice was revealed to him in this visionary encounter. He also dreamed of a monk who called himself "Wise Leader," who guided him into the presence of the Buddha and taught him the practice of chanting scriptures. From this, he transmitted the rules for reciting Buddhist hymns.
Furthermore, he encouraged court nobles and scholars, inspiring them toward the merit of the three assemblies at the Dragon Flower Tree. He exhorted both the elite and common people to accept the threefold pure precepts of a Bodhisattva. Such auspicious signs and omens continued to appear, too numerous to describe.
In addition, he explored the Dragon Palace scriptures and investigated the traces of the great teachings. He supported the profound transformation of the Dharma and sustained the enlightened teachings of the Buddha. In total, he copied more than three hundred volumes of various sutras mentioned above. He composed writings that promoted great benefits, totaling over one hundred volumes. He personally transcribed more than seventy volumes of scriptures.
Among his works, there is a two-volume commentary on the *Avatamsaka Sutra* and the *Garland Sutra*, which highlight the methods for transcending worldly life. He also wrote a one-volume record of the *Avatamsaka Assembly*, describing the essence of Dharma gatherings. All these works can serve as a mirror for future generations—immortal and unmatched teachings.
