爾時脇尊者。處胎六十年。神珠夢應。而遂誕生。滿室光明。非謂凡兆。既得道果。利物為先。至一林中。地變金色。

> At that time, the Venerable Parshva resided in his mother’s womb for sixty years. His birth was signaled by a divine jewel in a dream, and when he was born, the entire room was filled with light—no ordinary omen. After attaining enlightenment, his priority was to benefit all beings. When he arrived in a forest, the ground transformed into a golden color.

有富那夜奢至師前合掌而立。師問曰。汝從何來。

> Fuyanayashe stood before his master with palms pressed together. The master asked, “Where have you come from?”

答曰。我心非往。

> The answer is: My mind does not go.

問曰。汝何處住。

> A question was asked: "Where do you live?"

答曰。我心非止。

> The master replied: "My mind is not at rest."

問曰。汝不定耶。

答曰。諸佛亦然。

> The Buddha replied, “All Buddhas are the same in this way.”

問曰。汝非諸佛。

答曰。諸佛亦非。

> Reply: The Buddhas are also not this.

師知是法器。傳正法眼藏。而說偈言。

真體自然真 因真說有理領得真真法 無行亦無止
