Then, the World-Honored One, the Great Vairochana Vajra Tathagata, once again entered a profound state of meditation, the Diamond-like Samadhi of the Great Cloud of Adornments, which is the transformation of all Tathagatas. Emerging from this meditation, he proclaimed the following Great Mantra:
Om, sarvatathāgata-vaṅgīśvara, svabhāva-ātma-kośa.
"In the realm of space itself, Visualize the Buddha's mandala, With clouds of radiant light, majestic and vast, The Buddha's flames of equal light.
Five kinds of equal light Form the equal, perfect circle, The nature of the five desires is liberation, Known as the five ways of free action.
Abide in the contemplation of equality, Within the Buddha's image, The great seal of the All-Illuminating One — Dwell with body, speech, and mind in harmony.
With diamond-like body, speech, and mind, Dwell in the visualization of the great seal. The great seal of Akshobhya, Arises in the path of union.
The great seal of Ratnasambhava, The light of Amitayus' wisdom, The seal of Amoghasiddhi — Visualize the Buddha's mandala.
The deep lapis lazuli light appears, Abiding in the firm oneness of body, speech, and mind. Hold the great blazing diamond, The fierce and fearsome form.
The crystal moonlight appears, Adorning the topknot crown, Holding the blazing great wheel, Pure with all adornments.
The golden light appears, Like a cloud of Buddhas illuminating all classes. A nine-pronged vajra scepter — Visualize yourself holding it.
The coral-colored light appears, Adorned with diamond flames, Holding the great precious light, Blazing clouds spreading everywhere.
The lotus-colored light appears, Adorning the topknot crown, Holding the blazing lotus, Visualizing the Lotus Vajra.
These five kinds of light, Are the unshakable, firm forms. Skillfully hold the sword of wisdom, And visualize the Buddha's mandala."
Having spoken this verse, he once again entered the Samadhi of All Tathagatas' Dharmadhatu Self-Nature. Emerging from this meditative absorption, he then proclaimed the great mantra of the Vajra Three Actions of Empowerment:
