護鉢法第十一(十三條)
Method of Protecting the Bowl, Chapter 11(Thirteen rules)
一、不得安鉢笐竿下欄干上。二、不得安鉢放懸物下。三、不得安鉢在倚竹木樹枝邊。四、不得安鉢於石上。五、不得安鉢於果子樹下。六、不得在有果樹下洗鉢。七、不得安鉢於床角及四邊臨危之處。八、不得將手巾盛鉢及盛餘物。九、不得與童行鉢器食；若與童行鉢食者，深違佛教；又恐打破，切須忌之。十、不得一手把兩鉢，除中間有隔。十一、若携鉢隨身行，須鉢口向外。十二、不得挂鉢於杖頭。十三、一切危險處，不得安鉢。
One: Do not place the bowl on a railing or across a bamboo pole. Two: Do not place the bowl under anything hanging. Three: Do not place the bowl next to bamboo, trees, or branches. Four: Do not place the bowl on a rock or stone. Five: Do not place the bowl under a fruit tree. Six: Do not wash the bowl under a fruit tree. Seven: Do not place the bowl on the corner of a bed or any unstable edge. Eight: Do not use a cloth to carry the bowl or other items in it. Nine: Do not give the bowl and food to a young attendant. If you do, it goes deeply against the Buddha's teachings. Also, the bowl may get broken, so be sure to avoid this. Ten: Do not hold two bowls in one hand, unless there is a divider between them. Eleven: When carrying the bowl with you, keep the opening facing outward. Twelve: Do not hang the bowl on the top of a walking staff. Thirteen: Do not place the bowl in any dangerous location.
