三 白眾召入
Chapter 3: Summoning the Assembly
闍梨云：
The Venerable said:
「敬白大眾：『今有某寺行者某甲(若當處者，即改云當寺或本寺。)厭世出家，歸心三寶，將從和尚乞求剃髮。今令教授座主引入道場與其披剃。』」
教授座主（今時謂之引請師或引禮師），即從座起，至眾前，合掌揖僧竟。即出眾去，引彼行者。
The instructor (nowadays called the *yinqing shi* or *yinli shi*) then rises from his seat, steps before the assembly, places his palms together, and bows to the monks. After this, he leaves the assembly and goes to guide the aspirant.
