在府獅子山下，儀鳳門外，明文皇帝遣使海外遇颶風天妃現像護之，奉勅建此，有御製碑。

> Below Lion Mountain, outside the Ceremonial Phoenix Gate, Emperor Wen of the Ming Dynasty sent envoys overseas. When they encountered a hurricane, the Heavenly Consort appeared to protect them. By imperial decree, this shrine was built, and a stele with the emperor's own inscription stands here.
