### 為種居士對靈

> For the Lay Practitioners, to the Spirit

師揮拂子云：「種公種公，兩袖清風，人間天上，幻相皆空。西方世界，九品蓮中，逍然自在，受用無窮。水流風動，音樂重重，樓臺殿閣，窗牖玲瓏。彌陀海眾，在處相逢，滿菩提願，佛種紹隆。且當下一句作麼生聻？」喝一喝云：「居士飄然歸淨土，家邦千載繼綱宗。」

> The master waved his whisk and said: "Master Zhong, Master Zhong, with sleeves of pure breeze, between the human realm and the heavens, all illusions are empty. In the Western Pure Land, among the nine lotus tiers, you dwell in ease and freedom, enjoying boundless wonders. Water flows and wind stirs, music resounds everywhere, towers and pavilions, with finely crafted windows and doors. Amitabha and the ocean-like assembly, you meet them wherever you go, fulfilling the Bodhi vow, carrying on the Buddha's lineage. Now, what is the one phrase at this very moment?" He gave a shout and said: "The layman drifts away to the Pure Land, and for a thousand years, our family's tradition continues."
