### 題瑞白和尚住陽明洞銕壁居秋景畫像，時開法雲門。

> Inscription on the Portrait of Master Ruibai Residing at the Iron Wall Dwelling in Yangming Cave During Autumn, While Teaching at Yunmen.

坐破銕壁，伊誰可測？常扃柴扉，見亦不識。別峰拜之，一龜毛拂，舉兔角杖，摟陽明窟。飛一葉秋，揭藤斗笠，不離把茅，啟雲門席，豈忍不禁？先師累及。噫！盡道世間行樂好，逍遙那及在山日？

> Through sitting, he broke through iron walls—who could fathom his depth? Always with the wooden gate shut, even those who saw him did not truly know him. On a distant peak, they paid homage to him—a single tortoise-hair whisk, A rabbit-horn staff, embracing the cave of radiant light. A single leaf falls in autumn; he lifts his wicker rain hat. Never leaving his thatched hut, he opened the seat of the Yunmen lineage. How could he bear not to? His late master's burden still weighs on him. Alas! Everyone says worldly pleasures are best— But what freedom compares to a life in the mountains?

巍巍堂堂，辨邪別正，六出瑞花，其白無並。寒殺闍黎，韜幾晦微，曹洞一脈，大地春歸。

> Majestic and grand, discerning the false from the true, Six petals of auspicious bloom, their whiteness unmatched. Chilling the reverend master, veiling subtle depths, The Caodong lineage flows—spring returns to the vast earth.
