山中行，竹杖只宜輕。撥撥草，不過使蛇驚。

> Walking through the mountains, a bamboo staff should be light. Brushing aside the grass, it merely startles the snakes.

山中住，客來都不懼。說說鬼，亦自饒幽趣。

> Living in the mountains, I fear no visitor's knock. Speak of ghosts and spirits—still, there's a quiet charm to unlock.

山中坐，石爛莓苔破。白雲歸，忘卻來時路。

> Sitting in the mountains, the stones crumble and the moss breaks apart. The white clouds return, and I forget the path I came by.

山中臥，那得論朝暮？有夢時，好歹俱應做。
