三修供養
Threefold Practice of Offering
(行者初入道場。至本尊前。敷尼師壇。正身合掌倚立。應念本尊行願功德。於一切有情。起利益安樂慈悲平等之心。誓欲救度。慚愧懇惻。存想三寶。畟塞虗空。影現道場。手執香爐。燒眾名香。口唱三寶。五輪著地。首者舉云)。
When first entering the practice space, approach the main deity's altar. Spread out your sitting mat, stand upright with palms together, and lean slightly forward. Bring to mind the vows and virtues of the main deity. For all sentient beings, give rise to a heart of benefit, peace, joy, compassion, and equality. Vow to save and liberate them, with a feeling of humility, earnestness, and sincerity. Visualize the Three Jewels filling the entire space, their presence illuminating the practice hall. Holding the incense burner, light various fine incenses. With your mouth, invoke the Three Jewels. Place your five limbs on the ground—forehead, two hands, and two knees—and bow down. Then raise your head and speak as follows:
一心恭敬(此下異口同音)。
With one heart, we reverently bow.
- 一心頂禮。十方法界常住佛。
- 一心頂禮。十方法界常住法。
- 一心頂禮。十方法界常住僧。
是諸眾等。各各互跪。嚴持香華。如法供養(此下眾同聲唱)。願此香華雲徧滿十方界。一一諸佛土。無量香莊嚴具足菩薩道。成就如來香。
All these beings, each kneeling respectfully, reverently hold incense and flowers, offering them in accordance with the Dharma. May this cloud of incense and flowers spread throughout the ten directions, to every Buddha land, adorning them with boundless fragrant splendor, fulfilling the Bodhisattva path, and perfecting the Tathagata's fragrance.
(想云。我此香華徧十方。以為微妙光明臺。諸天首樂天寶香。諸天肴膳天寶衣。不可思議妙法塵。一一塵出一切塵。一一塵出一切法。旋轉無閡互莊嚴。徧至十方三寶前。十方法界三寶前。皆有我身修供養。一一皆悉徧法界。彼彼無雜無障閡。盡未來際作佛事普熏法界諸眾生。蒙熏皆發菩提心。同入無生證佛智。想已。起。首者白結)。
I envision: With this incense and flowers, I offer them throughout the ten directions, transforming them into a subtle and radiant platform. I present the heavenly music, precious incense, celestial feasts, and divine garments of the gods. These wondrous offerings, beyond thought and expression, each speck of dust gives rise to all specks of dust, each speck of dust manifests all dharmas. They revolve without obstruction, mutually adorning one another, reaching every corner of the ten directions before the Triple Gem. In all ten directions and throughout the dharma realm, before the Triple Gem, my body is present making offerings. Each offering pervades the entire dharma realm, distinct yet without confusion or hindrance. For all time to come, I engage in the Buddha's work, universally perfuming all beings throughout the dharma realm. May those touched by this fragrance awaken the mind of enlightenment, together enter the unborn, and realize the wisdom of the Buddha. After this contemplation, rise. The leader then announces the conclusion.
供養已。一切恭敬。(一拜)
Having made the offerings, all bow in reverence.
