第九都市王廳(阿閦如來)
Ninth City King Hall
哀亡人言，於諸經中造法花經，龍女出海，無垢成道。於諸佛中造阿彌陀佛，光明遍照，除熱寒苦。緣人男女欲救亡人，今日追善，受八齊戒，福力殊勝。男女勿瞋，能救亡苦。爾時，天尊說是偈言：
The departed soul is told: Among all sutras, the Lotus Sutra was composed, where the Dragon Girl emerged from the sea and attained enlightenment without defilement. Among all Buddhas, Amitabha Buddha was established, whose light shines everywhere, dispelling the pains of heat and cold. For the sake of the departed, sons and daughters today perform meritorious deeds, observe the Eight Precepts, and their blessings are especially powerful. Sons and daughters, do not harbor anger, for you can save the departed from suffering. At that time, the Heavenly Lord spoke these verses:
一年過此轉苦辛， 男女修齊福業因。
六道輪回仍未定， 造經造佛出迷津。
極惡極善不來處， 微惡微善為亡賓。
依佛經力定二報， 以追修福登金人。
Another year passes, filled with hardship and toil, As men and women cultivate virtue to sow the seeds of blessings. The cycle of rebirth in the six realms remains unsettled, Yet creating scriptures and honoring the Buddha can guide us out of confusion. Extreme evil or extreme goodness may not lead to rebirth here, But even small acts of good or evil shape the fate of the departed. Relying on the power of the Buddha’s teachings, we can secure a favorable rebirth, And through dedicated cultivation of blessings, ascend to the realm of the golden beings.
