> Traveling with the Two Nan

人生聚散如雲。世事如夢。流轉勢速如電。此身不實如芭蕉。此三世諸佛入理之門。吾人日用現證而不覺。是與足下別來親切境界。不審法眼觀之。作何滋味。

> Life's meetings and partings are like gathering clouds. The affairs of the world are like a fleeting dream. The flow of existence shifts as swiftly as lightning. This body is as insubstantial as a banana tree. This is the gateway through which all Buddhas of past, present, and future enter the truth. We experience it directly in our daily lives, yet remain unaware. This is the intimate reality I have encountered since parting from you. I wonder, through the eye of Dharma, what flavor does it hold?
