觀世音心輪眼藥品第五
Chapter 5: Guanyin's Heart Eye Medicine
時觀世音菩薩憐愍眾生故，說：「眼藥法，令一切人見皆生愛樂歡喜。慢室迦拘竪、紅蓮花、青蓮花、海水末或烏賊魚末、牛黃、欝金香、漢欝金、畢撥、胡椒、乾薑。
Then the Bodhisattva Guanyin, out of compassion for all beings, taught the Eye Medicine Method: "Grind together the following ingredients until they form a paste that will make anyone who sees it feel delight and joy: Elephant pepper, honeycomb coral, plant juice; High-mallow seeds, red lotus flowers, blue lotus flowers; Sea-foam powder or cuttlefish bone powder; Ox gallstone (bezoar), saffron (turmeric), Chinese turmeric; Long pepper, black pepper, and dried ginger."
「並等分，擣細篩訖。前藥有一兩，即著射香、龍腦香半兩細研，觀世音像前和合，其前三呪各誦一千八遍，於一切眾生邊皆起慈悲心，著此藥置觀世音菩薩足下，然後觸著，即得用銅筯點藥著眼頭。
「治眼頭一切病，瞖障白暈流淚、赤膜清盲、頭痛。每日一度著此藥置眼中，一切眼病皆得除差。二日著，治身中一切病。三日著，治八十四種癎。四日著，內外一切障不能障。五日著，一切怨賊兵甲鬪戰皆得勝利。六日著，一切惡業煩惱、四重五逆、惡夢蠱道悉能破壞，終不墮三惡道。七日著，國王宰相、一切大眾皆隨順恭敬信受愛樂。二七日著，得大自在。三七日著，則與國王宰相得相親覲。四七日著，所有夜叉并諸眷屬為其給使。五七日著，阿修羅、諸龍、夜叉、羅剎皆為給使。六七日著，有大力飛空羅剎、厭魅蠱道，乃至成佛常隨衛護。七七日著，摩訶迦羅神乃至八部神皆來隨從，為其給使。八七日著，眾人不見。九七日著，悉見一切伏藏。十七日著，阿修羅宮門自然開闢，宮中所有悉見，出入無礙。十一七日著，所有一切諸藥，猶如火狀對治，悉皆現前，若求長命及大力者即得。十二七日著，眾山開闢，寶物出現，隨意取用。十三七日著，龍宮自然開闢，寶物出現，隨所見者皆無障礙。十四七日著，欲界諸天宮殿無不開者，皆悉得見。十五七日著，夜黑闇中猶如白日。十六七日著，地下金地、金剛地、水輪、風輪、空輪悉見。十七七日著，四天下所有地獄中眾生悉見，已得見彼力故，諸受苦眾生皆得解脫。十八七日著，其人德力如日。十九七日著，見金剛真身，諸願皆滿。二十七日著，見大慈悲觀世音，一切願皆得滿足。二十一七日著，飛騰虛空，見色界諸天宮殿皆悉開闢，復見十方諸佛菩薩及佛淨國。若一年著，得五種淨眼。若能修此法者，應當深信此教，憐愍眾生，不得生疑。法則難成，如上所說。」
**For treating all eye diseases:** Cataracts, white spots, blurred vision, red membranes, glaucoma, and headaches. Apply this medicine to the eyes once daily, and all eye diseases will be cured.
**On the second day:** It cures all illnesses of the body. **On the third day:** It treats eighty-four types of epilepsy. **On the fourth day:** All internal and external obstacles are removed. **On the fifth day:** You will be victorious over enemies, armies, and battles. **On the sixth day:** All evil karma, afflictions, the four grave offenses and the five heinous crimes, nightmares, and curses will be destroyed. You will never fall into the three lower realms. **On the seventh day:** Kings, ministers, and all people will respect, obey, believe, and love you. **On the fourteenth day:** You will gain great freedom. **On the twenty-first day:** You will meet and befriend kings and ministers. **On the twenty-eighth day:** All yaksas and their followers will serve you. **On the thirty-fifth day:** Asuras, dragons, yaksas, and raksasas will serve you. **On the forty-second day:** Mighty flying raksasas and other harmful spirits will protect you until you reach Buddhahood. **On the forty-ninth day:** Mahakala gods and all eight classes of spirits will follow and serve you. **On the fifty-sixth day:** Others will not see you. **On the sixty-third day:** You will see all hidden treasures. **On the seventieth day:** The gates to the asura palace will open naturally, revealing everything inside, and you may enter and leave freely. **On the seventy-seventh day:** All medicines will appear before you like fire, healing everything. You will gain long life and great strength if you wish. **On the eighty-fourth day:** Mountains will split open, treasures will appear, and you may take them freely. **On the ninety-first day:** The dragon palace will open naturally, treasures will appear, and nothing will obstruct you. **On the ninety-eighth day:** All palaces of the desire realm gods will open, and you will see them all. **On the one hundred fifth day:** Darkness will become as bright as day. **On the one hundred twelfth day:** You will see the golden earth beneath, the diamond ground, the water wheel, the wind wheel, and the space wheel. **On the one hundred nineteenth day:** You will see all beings in the hells of the four continents, and through this power, those suffering beings will be liberated. **On the one hundred twenty-sixth day:** Your virtue will shine like the sun. **On the one hundred thirty-third day:** You will see the true vajra body of the Buddha, and all wishes will be fulfilled. **On the one hundred fortieth day:** You will see the Great Compassionate Guan Yin, and all wishes will be granted. **On the one hundred forty-seventh day:** You will fly through the sky, see all palaces of the form realm gods open, and see the ten-direction Buddhas, bodhisattvas, and pure lands. **After one year:** You will attain the five pure eyes.
If you wish to practice this method, you must have deep faith in this teaching, feel compassion for all beings, and never doubt. Otherwise, the method will not succeed, as described above.
