Chapter 11: The Empowerment of Invincibility
At that time, the World-Honored One looked upon Vajrapāṇi, the Lord of Secrets, and once again addressed him with verses, saying:
"In future ages, there will be beings of weak diligence, With arrogance, anger, delusion, shamelessness, deceit, and stinginess, Unable to follow the proper methods, To practice the true words and actions.
Those who recite the mantras, Empowered by the fire offering, Will be confused by all demons, And lose all right thought.
Though they may gain some attainment through mantras, They will labor in vain, Often thinking to themselves: 'Fools always speak like this.'
To pacify these obstacles, And to remove all demonic forces, I now speak this great mantra, Taught by the Buddhas of old, For the benefit of all beings. This is the Invincible Mantra.
If one constantly remembers it, And abides in meditation at all times, All demonic hindrances Will be completely eliminated."
Then Vajrapani, The Secret Lord of Yakshas, Felt great joy in his heart, And bowed to the World-Honored One: "O Adorned with Great Enlightenment Wisdom, This great Invincible Mantra— I wish to hear it."
Then, the World-Honored One spoke the Great Invincible Dharani:

普遍諸世界, 六種而振動;
"Recite this mantra of the heart, As proclaimed by the Perfectly Enlightened One, The World-Honored Seven Buddhas, Who reveal and extol all virtues, Now speak this great mantra, To benefit all who practice.
Throughout the worlds, The six realms tremble; All demonic palaces Are shaken to their core."
Vajrapani! This mantra verse has been spoken by all Buddhas, for the benefit of all beings.
"O Secret Lord! For those who recite the Wheel-Turning King mantra, or who recite other mantras, if they empower a cord with this mantra and tie it to the corner of their robe, or bind it to their topknot, or write it on birch bark and wear it around their neck or arm—such a person will swiftly and easily attain accomplishment, and their chosen deity will quickly appear before them. When reciting, if one can recall and uphold Vajrapāṇi, I see no one in the realms of gods, demons, ascetics, or Brahmins—whether under the protection of this mantra, whether impure or pure beings, whether human or non-human, whether demon offspring, piśācas, vināyakas, yakṣas, kumbhāṇḍas, rākṣasas, or any other sentient beings—who would dare to come and create obstacles. They would think: 'I cannot enter the palace of King Aṭakavatī.' If any violate this pure mantra practitioner, they will all transgress against the Vajra lineage, their own lineage, and even their relatives and friends, and will find no place to dwell. O Vajrapāṇi! This bright mantra possesses great power. For all endeavors, it should be used as protection. It is endorsed by the Rightly and Perfectly Awakened One, and endorsed by all bodhisattvas."
