第六白佛乞戒
Buddha Requests Precepts
上來所請五座聖師。具大慈悲他心道眼。憐愍眾生。拔苦與樂。必降道場。更為諸人。白佛乞戒。汝等各須志誠對佛合掌諦聽作白(下座白佛)。
The five holy masters invited here, endowed with great compassion and the eye of the Way that perceives others' minds, pity all beings, rescuing them from suffering and granting them joy. They will surely descend upon this assembly. On behalf of you all, they will petition the Buddha to confer the precepts. Each of you must sincerely face the Buddha, place your palms together, and listen attentively as the petition is made (the lower seat petitions the Buddha).
仰白五座聖師十方盡虛空遍法界一切諸佛大地菩薩僧。此娑婆世界某國州縣諸弟子等。求我恭白諸佛菩薩乞受三聚淨戒。此諸弟子已是真實發菩提心。能生深信。於此淨戒誓願學行。惟願諸佛諸大菩薩。憐慜施與三聚淨戒(三白竟歸本座)。
