Translated by Dharma Master Shi Hu, Imperial Commissioner of the Western Regions, Court Attendant, and Examiner of the Court of State Ceremonial,
Chapter 1: Great Mandala of All Tathāgatas’ Vajra Three Actions, Most Profound Secret Among Secrets, Assemblage of All Buddhas Abiding in Samādhi
Thus I have heard:
At one time, the Buddha dwelt in the realm where all Tathagatas’ spiritual powers are bestowed, where their three secrets of vajra body, speech, and mind are realized, and where their perfect wisdom arises and transforms into a pure and sublime state. He was accompanied by an immeasurable, countless assembly of great bodhisattvas, as numerous as the dust motes of Mount Sumeru in all the Buddhalands. Their names included: The Bodhisattva of Vajra Samadhi, the Bodhisattva of Vajra Body, the Bodhisattva of Vajra Speech, the Bodhisattva of Vajra Mind, the Bodhisattva of Vajra Concentration, the Bodhisattva of Supreme Vajra, the Bodhisattva of Vajra Earth, the Bodhisattva of Vajra Water, the Bodhisattva of Vajra Fire, the Bodhisattva of Vajra Wind, the Bodhisattva of Vajra Space, the Bodhisattva of Vajra Form, the Bodhisattva of Vajra Sound, the Bodhisattva of Vajra Fragrance, the Bodhisattva of Vajra Taste, the Bodhisattva of Vajra Touch, the Bodhisattva of the Self-Nature of the Vajra Dharma Realm… And these great bodhisattvas were among the foremost leaders.
