食了出堂法第九(十條)
Chapter 9: After Meals, Leave the Hall(Ten Rules)
一、眾中食了,不得漱口作聲。二、眾中食了,不得吐水致鉢椀中及餘處。三、聞處世界梵,合掌念偈。四、食了已作斷心,不得咽津。五、下床不得令脚踝露。六、食了出堂,先舉門頰邊脚,當令匙柄向身,執鉢當胸,不得顧視。七、食了出堂,未至院中及屏處,不得吐唾。八、出堂門外,須旁廊一邊行,令威儀庠序,雁行而行。九、不得並頭語笑,令失次。十、欲出堂,先收攝橫帔,整理袈裟,勿令僚亂,依次而行。
One, after eating in the assembly, one should not rinse the mouth making noise. Two, after eating in the assembly, one should not spit water into the bowl or elsewhere. Three, upon hearing the chanting of the Brahma sounds in the world, one should join palms and recite the verse. Four, after eating, one should maintain a mind of cessation and not swallow saliva. Five, when getting down from the seat, one should not expose the ankles. Six, when leaving the hall after eating, one should first step with the foot near the door frame, with the spoon handle facing the body, holding the bowl at chest level, and not look around. Seven, after eating and leaving the hall, before reaching the courtyard or a secluded place, one should not spit. Eight, upon leaving the hall door, one should walk along one side of the corridor, maintaining dignified deportment, walking in an orderly row like geese. Nine, one should not talk or laugh side by side, which would cause loss of order. Ten, when about to leave the hall, one should first gather the loose shawl, arrange the kasaya, and not let them be disheveled, then walk in order.
