### 掃地法第二十一八條

> Method of Sweeping, Chapter 21<note>Eight Rules</note>

一、不得灰土飛起。二、地若乾燥當以水洒，停少時然後乃掃。三、須順風不得逆掃。四、須淨掃不得有遺跡。五、不得背人。六、掃輕就重。七、不得聚糞土安戶扉後及餘處。八、掃地了箕󰆠送於屏處。

> One, no dust should be raised. Two, if the ground is dry, sprinkle it with water, wait a moment, and then sweep. Three, sweep in the direction of the wind, never against it. Four, sweep thoroughly, leaving no traces behind. Five, do not turn your back to others while sweeping. Six, move from lighter dirt to heavier dirt. Seven, do not pile up dust and waste behind doors or in other places. Eight, after sweeping, take the broom and dustpan and put them away in a hidden place.
