唐李太白 讚序法門
Preface by Li Bai of the Tang Dynasty — Praise for the Dharma Gate
(《白蓮集》云：唐李白，字太白。作金泥畫西方淨土變相，并序云：「我佛金天之西、日沒之所，去中華十萬億剎，有極樂世界焉。彼國之佛身長六十萬億由旬，眉間白毫向右宛轉如五須彌山，目光清白若四海水。端坐說法，湛然長存。沼明金沙，岸列珍樹，羅網彌覆，欄楯周帳，硨磲瑠璃為樓殿之飾，玻瑪瓈瑙耀階砌之榮。皆諸佛所證，無虗言者。若已發願，求及發願；若已當生，來及當生；精念七日，必生其國。功德罔極，灼然難名。」讚曰：)
向西日沒處， 遙瞻大悲顏， 目淨四海水， 身光紫金山， 勤金必往生， 是故稱極樂。
珠網珍寶樹， 天花散香閣， 圖畫了在眼， 願託彼道場， 以此功德海， 冥佑為舟梁，
八十億劫罪， 如風掃輕霜， 庶觀無量壽， 長覩玉毫光。
To the west, where the sun sets, I gaze upon the compassionate face of Guanyin, Her eyes are as pure as the waters of the four seas, Her body glows like a mountain of purple-golden light. If you practice with diligence, you will surely reach that land, And thus it is called "Supreme Bliss."
Pearl-net banners and jeweled trees, Heavenly flowers scatter over fragrant towers, This brilliant image is vivid before my eyes. I vow to be reborn in that sacred place, And by this ocean of virtuous merit, May it serve as a hidden aid, a ferry and a bridge,
To wipe away the sins of eighty billion kalpas, Like a strong wind sweeping away the light frost. Then I shall see Amitayus, the Buddha of Infinite Life, And behold forever the radiant hair-mark of jade light.
