用監院自五福同參嵩山老人以來，道業不廢，精進此道有日矣！及山僧住此法席，用來作弼，故山僧常美學道真實，且有大安老子之風。山僧以院事兩手相付，用忻然不拒。凡料理錢穀之暇，每來索法言，山僧遂揮豪大書曰：「善學柳下惠，終不師其跡。」用闍黎以為何如？
