### 三三、唐丹陽三昧王寺尼法潤傳

> Thirty-Three: Biography of Dharma Moisture, Nun of Sanyang Samadhi King Temple in the Tang Dynasty

法潤，丹陽陳氏女。自少入道，住三昧王寺。屏除事緣，精修禪慧，通誦妙法蓮華經，日夕不替。好行利濟，悲愍為懷，貧苦無告，多受其惠。自則納衣百結，享用極儉。至七十四而化，遺言令露屍施生命。弟子遵承，蟲獸噉盡，唯心舌俱存，舌猶赤色，心稍黑焉。即起塔緘奉。

> Fǎrùn, a woman of the Chén family from Dānyáng. From a young age, she entered the monastic life and resided at the Sānmèi Wáng Temple. She set aside worldly affairs and devoted herself to cultivating meditative insight, reciting the Lotus Sutra day and night without fail. She was fond of performing acts of kindness and compassion, and many of the poor and helpless received her aid. For herself, she wore patched robes and lived with utmost frugality. At the age of seventy-four, she passed away, leaving instructions that her body be exposed to benefit living beings. Her disciples followed her wishes, and after insects and animals had consumed it, only her heart and tongue remained. The tongue was still bright red, while the heart had darkened slightly. A stupa was then erected to enshrine them.
