Yuanzhao Chongding was a monk of the Song Dynasty who authored the comprehensive manual on monastic precepts, the *Biezhuan Shijie Fayuan Yinzhi* (別傳釋戒法苑因旨). He is highly regarded for his systematic organization and elucidation of the Vinaya.
